The Sahara Centre

You have a place in the work we are doing

We welcome partners, supporters, volunteers, and collaborators. Join us in our mission to translate indigenous knowledge into solutions for contemporary challenges in African societies.

Work With Us

The Sahara Centre welcomes professionals and service organizations eager to share their knowledge, creativity, and expertise. We collaborate with experts across diverse fields, from law and finance to investment, mental health, fundraising, communications, and design, to strengthen our initiatives.

Volunteers contribute by facilitating sessions, supporting programs and events, or lending creative talents as photographers, videographers, editors, or designers. All creative contributions receive full credit and may be featured in our publications and media platforms. You can also offer to host any of our events.

Current Opportunities

We are building a team of strategists, researchers, and programme managers who understand the power of indigenous intelligence and are committed to strengthening a sense of identity, place and belonging for Africans.

Support Our Initiatives

The Sahara Centre is a Lagos-based non-profit organization reimagining the role of indigenous knowledge systems in solving challenges in Africa.

Your contribution directly supports programmes that empower a vibrant community of innovators and change-makers driving sustainable cultural development.

Strategic Support Options

We offer four pathways for strategic engagement:

Strategic Partnerships

with institutions committed to multi-year collaboration

Corporate Alliances

for organizations integrating cultural intelligence into their operations

Grant Partnerships

with foundations supporting African-led development

Supporter Network

for individuals interested in supporting our work.

Each pathway provides distinct benefits including research access, thought leadership platforms, co-branded initiatives, and direct programme impact, positioning your support as investment in Africa’s capacity to solve its own challenges.

Begin the Conversation

Whether you are interested in partnership, individual support, joining our team, or volunteering your expertise, we would like to discuss how you can advance our shared mission.
