The Lantern Art Space Programme is a Lantern Laboratory programme, an initiative of The Sahara Centre, designed and adapted for the Goethe-Institut Nigeria Art/Space Negotiation project.

The Sahara Centre’s mission is to promote ‘African Solutions for African Societies’ , even as we empower others to spend the time to understand, reflect on and identify possible solutions to the myriad challenges we face. Through our research, critical and design thinking workshops, advocacy initiatives and activities, we strive to fulfill this mission.

Goethe-Institut Nigeria promotes cultural exchange, education and societal discourse in an international context, and supports the teaching and learning of the German language. Together with our partners, we focus on global opportunities and challenges, bringing different perspectives into a dialogue based on trust.
